ACI Taxonomy

This document defines the category structure for the 31 Agentic Coding Insights and maps each ACI to its home category. The taxonomy aligns with the 5-day course arc defined in outline.md. Category membership is independent of the day an ACI is taught — after the SAAC/MAAC restructure, several categories span more than one day.

The two-tier model: SAAC and MAAC

v0.1.0 of this course taught a single discipline: one human, one agent, one session. v0.2.0 names that discipline SAAC — Single-Agent Agentic Coding — and adds a second tier, MAAC — Multi-Agent Agentic Coding: one human hypervisor coordinating a fleet of agents through a shared whiteboard protocol. The two tiers sit on two different axes, and the catalogue divides along them.
