ACI Taxonomy

This document defines the category structure for the 71 Agentic Coding Insights and maps each insight to its home category. The insights are taught in fifteen chapters over three levels, listed chapter by chapter in the course outline. Category membership is independent of the chapter that teaches an insight: every category spans more than one chapter and more than one level.

The two-tier model: SAAC and MAAC

v0.1.0 of this course taught a single discipline: one human, one agent, one session. v0.2.0 names that discipline SAAC — Single-Agent Agentic Coding — and adds a second tier, MAAC — Multi-Agent Agentic Coding: one human hypervisor coordinating a fleet of agents through a shared whiteboard protocol. The two tiers sit on two different axes, and the catalogue divides along them.
