How This Course Was Built
This chapter explains how we constructed an agentic coding course from 18 months of real development data. The method matters because it demonstrates the same forensic, evidence-driven approach that the course teaches.
The Problem
We had 12+ repositories, 3750+ commits, 155 Claude Code sessions (1.46GB of session data), 119 steel threads in one repo alone, and years of accumulated lessons about working with coding agents. The knowledge was scattered across git histories, session logs, CLAUDE.md files, steel thread design documents, and the heads of the people involved.
