Thesis

Multi-agent coding does not free the human's attention — it concentrates it. As the fleet generates more and faster, the human stops producing work and starts arbitrating it, and the scarce input becomes taste: the values-laden judgment of good idea versus bad that no agent can supply for itself. Taste is the only point at which human values enter the system.

Story

The promise people hear in "multi-agent" is leverage: point a fleet at the work and reclaim your time. Lamplight's record says the opposite. Over ten days the hypervisor's attention did not fall — it concentrated. With five nodes generating output in parallel, the bottleneck moved off the keyboard and onto judgment.
